I think everyone should have a special recipe box just for good dinner ideas. You know how it is when the dreaded dinner rut hits you; your whole family is starving after work and school, you’re pantry seems to be totally empty and you are completely out of ideas.
That’s when that treasure box would really come in handy! You would just reach for it, pick one – any one of them, and you would know it’s a winner. It would be super easy to make (honestly, if a recipe is complicated I don’t think it deserves to be called comfort food), and your family would be all smiles after dinner.
It doesn’t always work that way, especially if you don’t happen to own a physical treasure box for recipes… That’s why I’ve put together this post, with our most popular comfort food classics – each one with a delicious twist that I think makes them even more special.
