These easy sweet potato fries are so delicious they’re down right addicting! In fact, they have so much awesome flavor you won’t have a hard time at all swapping them in for their less than healthy regular French fry counterparts.
By themselves sweet potatoes are the perfect balance between sweet and savory. But when you pair them with the perfect amount of salt and seasonings (the paprika gives a great smoky kick) and bake them until tender and crisply perfection in the oven you’re left with one absolutely amazing treat! Serve these as a side dish with your favorite dinner or as a healthier party snack.
2-3 tbsp olive oil for coating
5 sweet potatoes (peeled and sliced into ¼ to ½ inch strips)
½ tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Spray with non stick spray.
In a large bowl toss sliced sweet potatoes with olive oil. Sprinkle with seasonings and toss again to make sure they’re even distributed.
Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake until tender and starting to brown (20 -25 minutes) turning once halfway through baking.
Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes before serving.
