These 3 ingredient oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are the perfect healthy-ish treat for any day of the week! They’re so sweet from the mashed bananas and chocolate and the oats give them a great chewy texture. Honestly, when you’re eating them you’ll almost forget you’re eating a “healthy” cookie.
And with just three ingredients (no mixer, butter softening or flour flying around required) you can have these made up in no time. They’re the perfect after school snack for the kids, a great breakfast treat that you can grab and go, or just a dang good dessert when you want a cookie but also want to stay a little healthier.
2 bananas mashes (on the larger side)
1 ¾ cup oats (preferably quick oats)
½ cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mash bananas in a mixing bowl. Then add in the oats and mix well to combine. Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
Scoop 2 tbsp of dough (roughly) and form into a cookie shape (about ½ inch thick). These don’t spread so you don’t need to keep them in a ball shape.
Bake about 15 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown and are just set.
Remove from the oven, cool for two minutes on pan, and transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
