When my husband and I first got married we were both still in grad school and working full time. Free hours in a day were few and far between and most nights we were pulled in too many different directions to sit down to a nice meal. But on the rare occasion that we did have a spare hour that happened to line up in our schedules we made dinners like this 4 ingredient baked ziti.
They’re perfect for anyone with a busy schedule. Short on ingredients but big on flavor with a total cooking time of less than an hour—a match made in busy night heaven!
I found out that my now husband was a great and creative cook on our third date. He invited me over for dinner only to realize that he forgot to stop for groceries after his last class of the day. Not wanting to break his promise to me he scrounged around in his fridge and cupboards to see what he could find.
That’s how this delicious recipe was born. It’s basically four pantry/fridge staples that anyone would have on hand. Yet they bake up into magic. Seriously the best recipe ever!
