I know, at first glance, this looks like an ordinary buffalo dip. I promise it’s not though! It’s not even spicy! This is my Bacon BBQ Cheese dip, and I’ve been bringing it to every single party I go to for the last two years.
Everyone loves it. If you wanted to mae it spicy, you could easily add some hot sauce. Or you could choose a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce for the mix. Just throw everything into a food processor, and you have the best dip you’ve ever tasted! Eat it with chips, pretzels, or veggie sticks as a healthy alternative.
3 slices bacon, crisply cooked, coarsely chopped
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 medium green onions, sliced
Set aside 2 tablespoons of the chopped bacon for garnish. In food processor or blender, combine cream cheese, barbecue sauce, Cheddar cheese and remaining bacon. Cover; process or blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined.
Garnish dip with green onions and reserved bacon. Serve with chips.
