Forget Drinking Your Eggnog – Eat It In This Tasty Pie Version

Every year at Christmas, my mom starts breaking out the eggnog. I don’t get the draw myself but eggnog is a beloved family tradition for my crew and many others I’m sure. So when I saw this eggnog version of a cheesecake pop up on my Pinterest feed, I had to stop and give it a try. I can’t wait to share this with my eggnog-crazed family this year. I did whip one up a few days ago and ask my kids to try it, and they all agreed it’s fantastic. And on my end, this recipe was easy to make and took no prep time at all. I really like that in my holiday kitchen, because it’s usually a mad house of forgotten items in there.

This won’t be like a typical cheesecake that you know. Instead you’ll have a creamy pie filling on top of a pie crust with some whipped cream for good measure. You can also turn this into an adorable mini pie or tart version that would be perfect for office holiday potlucks. Big thanks go to Meatloaf and Melodrama for sharing such an amazing recipe.

Quick tip: You can either a frozen pie crust or a graham cracker pie crust in this recipe.
