So how do these magical cookies work? It starts off like a regular chocolate chip cookie dough recipe but when you get to the flour in the recipe, you will see that half of the flour is replaced with vanilla cake mix- genius! So these cookies don’t just taste like cake, they are actually made with cake! A few other tricks like chilling the dough and scooping it into tiny towers makes for chewy cookies that will definitely not stay in the cookie jar for long.
