Elegant, Festive Halloween Showstopper
I am happily in cake heaven right now! Just look at this stunning Bundt cake that Jamie made for Halloween! If you think the outside is spectacular, wait until you see the inside, where those same bright colors are baked right into the cake in big, bold ribbons of Halloween festivity. I have never in my life seen such a gloriously colorful cake!
From looking at it, you would imagine that such a stunning cake would be difficult to make. But Jamie says, “Don’t get scared – this recipe is easy peasy, y’all! Thanks to a boxed cake mix, you can have this pretty cake done in no time!” That is good enough to encourage me, a non-baking person to give it a try. This is going to be the showcase dessert on my Halloween table!
This cake is incredibly versatile, as you can change up the colors to correspond to any holiday or event. Imagine taking this to a Christmas potluck done up in red, green and white. Or the pale pastels of pink, blue, yellow and lavender for Easter. Red, white and blue for 4th of July celebrations! Your best friend’s favorite colors for their birthday. See the endless possibilities?

Quick Tip: You can find gel food coloring at your local department store (such as Walmart) or at your local craft store in the Baking Section. The gel food coloring is what gives you these bright, vibrant colors. Liquid food coloring will not give you the same results.
