Summer Might Be Over But You Can Have S’mores All Year Round With This Recipe
S’mores are amazing because of the complete and perfect combination of chocolate, melty marshmallows and crunchy graham crackers. This recipe for S’mores Dump Cake Cobbler has all of those elements and so much more. More chocolate is the first thing that is not lacking in this recipe. In fact, there is three different kinds of chocolate- chocolate pudding, chocolate chips and chocolate cake- already this dump cake is on the right track!
After making the pudding, you layer graham crackers on top in a casserole dish (there’s that wonderful crunch that all s’mores should have!) and chocolate cake mix is added on top. As this mix bakes, the cake will rise up around the graham crackers and stay super moist thanks to the pudding mix. Mini marshmallows and chocolate chips are added half way through baking and cooked until they are golden brown. Sweet gooey s’mores perfection comes out of the oven a few minutes later and, I know it is hard to resist, but be careful taking that first bite- there may not be a campfire but those marshmallows are hot! What a flawless way to have s’mores all year. This is definitely easier than collecting sticks, lighting a fire and trying not to burn your marshmallow!

Quick tip: If you like your marshmallows extra toasty, use a small blow torch to crisp them further after the cake comes out of the oven.
