You’ll Never Need Another Recipe For Asparagus Again!

My husband and I go to this stak restaurant for date night all the time and get their grilled asparagus – there’s something so sophisticated and regal about that veggie. We were at my mom’s for family dinner last week and she skipped her usual steamed broccoli and surprised us with this light recipe she found online.

This asparagus was different than our favorite steakhouse because there was a hint of lemon, which paired perfect with the lemon butter chicken she made with it. Asparagus is one of those vegetables that is a little intimidating because you have to cook it perfectly. If you don’t cook it long enough, it just taste like fiber. If you cook it too long, it’s just soggy and limp. This recipe is quite simple and it really does this green justice.

Even my dad, who normally doesn’t touch the broccoli during these family dinners, went for seconds of the asparagus. When we did dishes, the asparagus plate was empty, so you know it’s good. The lemon tart with the butter bread crumbs make this dish a family favorite!
