A Sweet and Salty Holiday Snack That is Sure to Impress
Who doesn’t love Halloween? There’s something magic in the air when this time of year comes around, and it’s the perfect time to treat yourself to something sweet. The kiddos will love this treat as well! Similar to Puppy Chow, this Werewolf Kibble was created as a sweet and salty trail mix with cereal, peanut butter chips, and a few other delicious additions that make it unique.
I love that it’s not your usual sweet trail mix. There’s some definite crunch going on, as well as a nice boost of protein from the nuts. The recipe was created by Big Bear’s Wife, who described each part of the recipe as having something to do with a werewolf. “Pretzel sticks for werewolf fetch”, for example. If that’s not the cutest thing, I don’t know what is. Serve this at a Halloween party for extra host or hostess points.
Big thank you to Big Bear’s Wife for this delicious treat that I haven’t stopped gobbling up since I found it. With Halloween right around the corner, I’m sure I’ll be turning into a werewolf before the year is over. I also think this would make a great bake sale item for those fall PTA events!

Quick Tip: If you have trouble getting the cereal mixture coated with the melted ingredients, try separating the batch into two smaller batches. This will help make everything even.
