Crispy Breaded Shrimp in a Delicious Spicy Sauce, Just Like the Restaurants Make It

Going to the Cheesecake Factory is always a fun lesson in patience. The menu, if you don’t already know, is absolutely huge, with food from just about every type of cuisine listed somewhere in there. If you go with anyone else, especially someone who doesn’t go often, prepare to wait while they read everything. One thing I always do is order a batch of Bang Bang Shrimp right away, because it’s the perfect appetizer. But when you’re trying to cut back on eating out, it can be tough to miss your favorite restaurant meals.

So when I saw Damn Delicious had created a new and improved Bang Bang Shrimp recipe, I got excited. The old copycat on this site was a bit clumpy and not quite right – the new version, however, is spot on exactly like the restaurant. I couldn’t believe my taste buds the first time I tried this. I couldn’t believe I made it, either! This recipe isn’t labor intensive but it’s also not as simple as many of the other recipes out there. But trust me, the small amount of work is worth it for this delicious recipe. Big thanks go to Damn Delicious for this awesome recipe.

Quick tip: While this recipe is best eaten when it’s cooked, you can pre-bread the shrimp and fry when you’re ready to eat. Just keep the breaded shrimp in the fridge till it’s time.
