Oh, excuse me! My mouth was full of meatballs! What was it you asked? Can you freeze these? A dear friend once told me that if they can freeze Walt Disney, you can freeze anything! She has proven to be absolutely correct more times than I can even recount. Of course you can freeze these!
Don’t worry about that silly old wives’ tale that you can’t, or at least shouldn’t, refreeze meat that has already been frozen. This has been proven to be untrue. So if you want to make large batches of these and freeze them to have them ready for future events, go right ahead and do so.
INGREDIENTS
12 ounce bottle chili sauce
14 ounce can whole-berry cranberry sauce
¼ cup orange juice
28 ounce bag frozen Swedish/Italian meatballs
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a crockpot, stirring together to evenly coat. Cook on high for 2 hours or until meatballs are tender and hot throughout, turn heat to low to keep warm during serving. Stir occasionally.

Quick Tip: Don’t worry if you cannot find a bag of frozen meatballs that exactly matches the size called for in the recipe, as these will vary by brand, and not all brands are available in every market. Just get the closest size you can find. You also might want to try experimenting with different meatball flavors.
