I Could Eat This Bread All Day

I have always been intimidated by making bread from scratch. Every time I try, I end up with a solid brick loaf that is almost impossible to cut and definitely not edible. Yet, I always want to try again because you have to admit, freshly baked bread just sounds so amazing.

When I found this recipe I decided I was up for the challenge and ready to tackle the world of freshly made bread again. Thank goodness I did not give up because this bread was one of the best things I have ever eaten- and I made it myself (and if I can do it, you definitely can too!). The bread dough was simple enough to make and full of herbs like rosemary and oregano. The dough was soft enough to work with and I was easily able to roll it out into strips like the recipe asks.

Now the best part here is the roasted garlic, butter and parmesan filling that is layered in between the bread dough. Stacks of dough and filling are baked together to create a beautiful, pull apart bread. I honestly cannot believe how satisfying this bread was to make and also to eat. Since this bread goes with just about everything, I am already planning on making it again! Give it a try- you’ll love it too!

Quick tip: If you don’t have time to make bread dough, try using crescent rolls instead and layering them with the filling.
