Just Like Pudding: My Mashed Potatoes Have A Special Ingredient To Make Them The Perfect Consistency!

  • christmas potatoes

Grandma, you’re going to have to move aside! My mashed potato recipe is the ultimate go-to recipe for potatoes. My secret ingredient that I add is sour cream because it makes the potatoes perfectly dense and thick.

Once you whip it with the beater, they get so fluffy and light! To make a gravy, all you have to do is make one with your cooking stock you used while making Christmas dinner. These potatoes hold any flavors well, so you can make them taste just like you want them to.

In about twenty minutes, you’ll have the best potatoes you’ve ever had.

Ingredients:

8 Yukon Gold potatoes

½ cup butter

1 cup sour cream

½ cup milk

salt and pepper

Instructions:

Start boiling a large pot of water on the stove (high heat).

Peel and rinse potatoes, cut in half, place in boiling water.

Boil for 20 mins or until potatoes are soft enough for a fork to pierce through.

Drain potatoes in a colander.

Place in a large mixing bowl.

Add butter, sour cream, salt and pepper. Beat well with blender.

Add milk until your desired consistency.

Quick Tip: For a gravy, I suggest using the stock from another meal you’ve cooked that day for Christmas.
