This Italian Sausage Recipes – Easy Sausage Pasta Bake is guaranteed to be a huge hit with your family! Once this comes out of the oven it is total pasta heaven. From the perfectly cooked noodles and sausage to the little bit of tang from the pesto, it’s a flavor party for your tastebuds. Next time you need a quick and easy dinner give this a try!
1 ½ pounds Italian sausage (hot or mild)
6oz. jar pesto
8oz. ricotta cheese
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Lightly spray a 9×9-inch pan with cooking spray. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until crumbled and no longer pink. Cook spaghetti for 2 minutes less than the package directions specify. Drain the spaghetti well. Place cooked pasta in bowl. Stir in sausage, ricotta, pesto, 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese. Toss the mixture well and transfer it to prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes.

Quick tip: If you don’t have ricotta cheese cream cheese can be substituted—but use 6oz. instead. The texture will differ a little but it will still be tasty.
