Finally! A Dipped Apple That You Can Actually Eat!
I absolutely love dipped apples especially in the fall when they are fresh and crisp. But have you ever tried to really eat a candied apple? Did you get covered in sticky goo and have the pieces of candy completely stuck in your teeth? Because that’s what happens to me every time…They look so good but they are impossible to eat and not to mention, kinda hard to make too. And caramel apples are the same- delicious but messy and time consuming.
This apple pop recipe is here to help! Using apple slices instead of whole apples is the first step which makes these so much easier to eat and enjoy. Covering the slices in chocolate is just genius as well- no more sticky candy in your teeth! Sprinkles, nuts, mini M&M’s all make perfect garnishes for these sweet treats and that is also a step which your kids could help with- you dip the apples, they sprinkle on the toppings and you don’t have to worry about them being burned by hot caramel or candy coating.
So get out some fresh apples and lollipop sticks, slice those beauties up and get to dipping- you will love to make these apple pops just as much as you will love eating them!

Quick tip: Store the finished apples in the fridge to make sure they stay fresh and the chocolate doesn’t melt!
