Chicken Recipes For Dinner – We’re Pretty Sure A More Perfect Dinner Recipe Doesn’t Exist…
Growing up my dad was the primary cook in our family. My mom worked long and unpredictable hours as an ER nurse so even on the nights she was home early enough to cook she was often too exhausted to. Fortunately, my dad’s work at a local furniture store had flexible hours that meant he was home every day by 4:00 and can prepare delicious chicken recipes for dinner for us.
Because of this I think it came as quite a shock to me when I got married and found that my husband’s and my jobs were kind of the opposite of what my parents’ were. He works for an engineering firm that regularly keeps him busy until 6 or 7 at night. This meant that when I got home around 5:00 dinner was on me… a daunting prospect for someone whose cooking skills weren’t that sharp.
Fortunately, unlike my dad I can easily access hundreds of easy recipes for a beginner cook right from my phone. To help improve my skills I’ve made a goal for myself that at least twice a week I make a new recipe.
Sometimes these recipes come out needing a little work. And other times they’re so simple that even I turn them into the work of a culinary wonder. This chicken recipes for dinner is one of the latter.
