The Buttery Topping Is What Hooks Everyone Onto These Biscuits

  • red lobster biscuits

I love the cheesy biscuits you can get at a lot of seafood restaurants. The problem is, my husband really doesn’t like seafood, so now I never get to go!

I had to make a mock recipe of those biscuits that I love so much, so here is my Copycat Restaurant Cheddar Biscuit recipe! It tastes exactly like the thing I’m talking about.

I made a whole batch, and I had a few with dinner. By the end of the next day, I had eaten all of them! I love bread, and I can’t help myself. What can I say? A girl wants what a girl wants!

Ingredients:

Biscuits

2 cups Bisquick biscuit mix

4 tablespoons of butter cold

2 ⁄3 cup milk

1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Topping

2 tablespoons of butter melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dried parsley or old bay seasoning

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450.

Combine Bisquick with 4 tablespoons butter using a fork.

Add in milk and cheddar cheese and stir together.

Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet. This will make 8-10 biscuits.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Topping

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

Stir in garlic powder and your parsley (or Old Bay Seasoning)

Top your warm biscuits using a basting brush.

Quick Tip: An ice cream scoop makes it easier to shape your biscuits!
