The Perfect Combination of Desserts
When I first heard of cheesecake pecan pie bars, I knew it was something I had to make right away. I grabbed all the groceries I needed, preheated my oven and started baking right away. I expected these bars to be a little difficult to make just because anything that sounds this delicious has to be hard, right? Well, that was not the case!
A simple graham cracker crust goes down into the pan first and is topped with a straightforward cheesecake batter- easy enough! Then, you quickly mix up a pecan pie filling by stirring all of the ingredients together in one bowl- I can totally do that too! This is poured onto the cheesecake layer and into the oven the bars go!
The end result is a dessert masterpiece-two layers of delicious classic desserts combined to make one easy to eat bar. Could it get any better than this? I don’t think so! So do what I did and head to the grocery store and whip up a batch of these cheesecake pecan pie bars soon because if you don’t, you’re just going to keep thinking about them longingly until you finally put one in your mouth!
