Transform a Camp Out Favorite Into a Sophisticated Party Treat
Last week, one of my older kids had a sleepover. Sleepovers are lots of fun, but they can also be stressful. I always want to be the cool parent, offering the best snacks compared to all the other parents. It used to be that I was serving up store bought cookies and chips, but lately I’ve been looking for ways to get a bit more creative. So last week, I was prepared with a few recipe ideas before the group arrived. Of everything I made, this s’mores fondue dip was the biggest hit. The kids loved dipping fruit and crackers into the fondue like fancy grownups, and who doesn’t love the taste of s’mores?
Honestly after testing it out on the kids, I think this recipe would be perfect for an adult party as well. The best thing? It only takes a quick dump of ingredients into a crockpot, and then two hours of slow cooking, to be ready to go. You could easily make this snack while you get ready for an event, and then set out your dippers. Huge thanks go to the chef behind Eazy Peazy Mealz, who made such a unique dessert fondue that no one could get enough of.

Quick tip: You may need to add some extra heavy cream at the end if your fondue cooked too quickly, so be sure to have a little extra splash on hand.
