We can’t all be professional bakers and you don’t have to be in order to make this perfect fall dessert. Seriously, anyone can make these little individual apple pies and everyone is going to go crazy over them. The fact that they are individually portioned makes them look super fancy too and lets everyone have their own pie- no sharing required!
So how do you go about making these little miracle pies? Easy! Grab a roll of cookie dough and a jar of apple pie filling and you are practically done! Really- that’s all there is too it (talk about an easy shopping list). The sugar cookie dough is pressed into a muffin tin and baked. Apple pie filling is scooped into the cookie shell, back in the oven for a few minutes and you’re done.
Caramel sauce is highly recommended to really put this dessert over the top but it is definitely not necessary. What is necessary is a really pretty serving tray to put these pies on as you are going to want to show off your baking skills to your family and friends.
