This Cake Is THE Perfect Dessert
Angel food cake and devil’s food cake come together in this super decedent yet light and airy cake. The name also perfectly suits this cake- heaven and hell describes it to a T! The recipe may be a little more detailed than most but the result is well worth the effort. So let’s take a look at this naughty and nice cake.
We’ll start on the side of good and look at what makes the ‘heaven’ part of this amazing dessert. Layers of vanilla angel food cake are stacked inside the cake along with a super light and fluffy peanut butter mousse. Airy and sweet, eating these two layers is like eating a dessert cloud. You will be in heaven with just one bite.
So what about the ‘hell’ part? Well, devil’s food cake is the first step that makes this cake so sinful. Topping it with a dark chocolate ganache is just the icing on the cake (literally and figuratively!). So decadent and so rich, the chocolate devil’s food cake and ganache will make you feel guilty for indulging in such a treat.
