The Internet Is Loving This Twist On A Popular Party Appetizer
If you’ve been to any type of holiday or family party, you’ve probably had a cheese ball! If you’re like my family, you’ve probably had one too many of those yellow balls that come from the grocery store.
Personally, I am so sick of those. I tried this new cheese ball recipe and I am absolutely in heaven! This recipe is made with goat cheese, and I’m never going back to any other kind. Since goat cheese is naturally creamy, you don’t need to add other fillers to it to make it smooth.
Simply combine it with the other 3 ingredients, chill it in the fridge and you’re ready to go! For my recipe, I use dried cranberries. The part tart and part sweet flavors of cranberries pair perfectly with goat cheese. However, you could always try other dried fruits. Or you can skip the fruit completely and stick to nuts and herbs!
For the walnuts, I suggest toasting them in a pan before mincing them. Toasting nuts make the flavor of the nut way more amplified, and your whole house will smell amazing! Every person I’ve shared this goat cheese ball recipe with loves it! It’s a hit at parties!

Quick Tip: For a smooth cheese ball, mash the goat cheese with a fork first.
