Simple Pull-Apart Bread? NOT!

You Won’t Know There’s A Secret Ingredient Hiding In Here Until You Try It!

I love bread, I love secrets and I love surprises! Alli’s clever bread recipe delivers all three. You have, no doubt, seen bread like this before. It looks like your typical pull-apart or monkey bread that is made by rolling dough into balls, seasoning them and baking them in a Bundt pan.

That is where this comparison ends, because looks can certainly be deceiving! These are no mere pull-apart morsels, these are “bombs,” meaning there is something hidden away inside each little ball. In this case, it is mozzarella cheese.

So when you pull one of these balls away from the pile, you are liable to be pulling apart an ooey-gooey stretchy string of melty cheese. Isn’t that clever? You never would have guessed there was anything more to this dish than what meets the eye.

So how would you use this recipe? Well, first of all, it makes a great snack all on its own, or you can dip it in seasoned olive oil or marinara sauce. It could also be served alongside a salad for a luncheon or brunch, and it would make an excellent addition to any Italian meal, such as spaghetti or lasagna. You can serve it with dipping sauces, or without.

Quick Tip:  Your main issue with baking these garlic cheese bombs to perfection is going to be making sure that they are fully baked. The image shown is NOT a good representation of this, as it shows underdone cheese bombs. You want to bake them until they are completely golden in color all the way around. Depending on your oven temperature, this may take a shorter or longer time than what is recommended in the recipe. Keep a close eye on them.
