5 Ingredients That Simply Will Blow You Away!

Are you tired of serving the same old boring side dishes at every family gathering or holiday feast? Well, this is your lucky day, because I found this astonishing recipe from Nettie that is going to blow you away when you try it. I only have one problem with it. I can’t tell exactly what it is and which course of my meal it belongs with.

Maybe I will consider it a toss-up and give it a whole new course label:  Dessert-on-the-Side! Let me explain my dilemma. In just looking at it, you would tell yourself, “Yep, that’s definitely a stuffing or dressing (depending on your regional interpretation of these two words), so I’ll set it over there with the rest of the side dishes.”

Then, during the course of the meal, you dish yourself up a portion and taste it. Now you question yourself, “Why this is obviously some type of bread pudding with fruit! Why didn’t I set it down there, with the other desserts?” See what I mean? What’s a poor, stressed-out hostess to do?

You will really have to try it for yourself before you decide. Serve it to some of your friends at brunch and get their opinions. I am willing to bet they will be split about just what this is, too!

Quick Tip:  For best results, use a dense bread that is a day or two old, such as a French baguette, an artisan multi-grain, etc. You might even want to try something really different, like cornbread!
