For holidays and parties, making a big batch of cookies is usually the easiest way to feed everyone a yummy dessert. As good as chocolate chip cookies are, that can get pretty boring pretty fast. My best friend showed me this recipe for Browned Butter Cookies, and I will never look at a cookie the same way again!
I had no idea browning butter before adding it to a cookie batter would offer such a different flavor. Imagine a cookie with a nuttier and deeper flavor. Then, add sweet, white chocolate morsels and tart, dried cranberries to it. Who could beat that flavor combination?
The best part is that these cookies taste fantastic during any season. While they’re perfect for holiday parties, you could enjoy them during warmer seasons too. Apparently, my best friend has been making these cookies for her family for years, and I can’t believe she has just recently told me about it!
I’ve already made this recipe three times in the past month: once for my family, once for my church’s pot luck, and one more time for my niece’s graduation. I’ve received nothing but compliments on the Browned Butter Cookies, and everyone has been begging me for the recipe. Well, here it is, folks!
