Pretty, Tasty Party Cups
Has your muffin pan been getting much of a workout lately? Or has it been languishing in the dim recesses of one of your bottom cupboards, alone and forlorn, all but forgotten for its intended purpose of filling your life with the joy of muffins and cupcakes?
Fear not little muffin pan! Come out into the light and discover a new purpose for your life. You’ll be the envy of all the other bakeware when they see you make stunning appetizers like these. It will give you a whole new lease on life!
Could a baking sheet make these? No way! How about your cousin, the cake pan? Not on your life! Maybe a flat old quesadilla, any old pan can make those! But it takes a pan with your depth and ability to hold your own to carry off these tasty morsels with such aplomb.
Your hostess will garner all of the compliments at the party, certainly. But she will remember that it was her trusty muffin pan just waiting to serve a useful purpose again that made the party such a success. You will know how much she values you by the way she lovingly washes you, dries you and then tucks you safely back in your place.

Quick Tip: Since you will only be using 10 of the 12 cups on your muffin pan, fill the other two cups 1/3 full of water. This will keep them from scorching. Carefully place the muffin pan in the oven to avoid spilling the water into the filled cups. Be especially careful when removing the baked cups, as the water will be boiling hot.
