Ditch the Bakery and Enjoy Your Own Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
I love donuts. That’s a sentence that just about everyone can agree with, and I can’t think of a single person I know who wouldn’t scarf down about three (dozen) cinnamon sugar donuts if given a chance. But the bakery in my area recently limited their hours so much that I haven’t been able to swing by to get my usual fix. So I went hunting for a recipe, and let me tell you – yeast donuts like the kind at the bakery are not an easy thing to make! So when I found this canned biscuit hack by Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons, I was elated!
All you have to do is cut out the middle of a biscuit, fry in some oil, and dip in cinnamon sugar. That’s it! How much more simple can it get? I always have a can of biscuits on hand, so I didn’t even have to wait to try this tasty recipe. Eat them for breakfast, for dessert, or for lunch and dinner – I won’t judge. Big thanks to Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons for sharing such a fantastic way to make donuts. The only problem now is how easy it is to stuff myself full of these every day.

Quick tip: While you can use any type of canned biscuit, my experience says that flaky layers are the best for a chewy, yeasty donut.
