Become Part Of The Latest Trend In Cooking

Have you ever met a noodle you didn’t like? I just know for a fact that I am not the only person on this little blue-green marble floating through the Universe that is addicted to pasta. Seriously now, they are treating people for this addiction right this minute!

But here’s a novel thought: if there is more space between the noodles you eat, if they aren’t all densely packed down into the form of a casserole, then you couldn’t possibly be eating as many of them. That is right where Elizabeth’s smart new recipe comes to the rescue of lasagna addicts everywhere. You see, it has all of the same comforting taste of the lasagna we are used to gorging ourselves upon, but it’s a soup. That’s right folks, lasagna soup!

Now before you even let those words, “Well, whatever will they think of next?” cross your mind, you need to become aware that this is NOT the novelty you might think that it is. There is a whole movement afoot in the culinary world to take one type of recipe, say a casserole, and morph it into another type of recipe, such as a soup, using the same ingredients. This trend also goes the other direction, wherein soups are being made into casseroles.

Quick Tip:  Don’t feel like making meatballs tonight, or just don’t have the time that they take to mix, shape and cook? Here’s a “soup hack” you can use – just brown your ground beef and add it to the soup. Same taste, different shape!
