Try a Tropical New Flavor Tonight That the Whole Family Will Love

There’s just something about the end of summer that has me thinking about all the beach time I missed out on this year. I should have gone to Hawaii by now, but I’ll settle for eating delicious Hawaiian flavors instead. This recipe involves two of my most favorite things: a sweet and thick barbecue sauce, and yummy pineapples. Together with the rest of the ingredients, this recipe becomes a tangy and sweet mashup that is perfect on chicken when you’re craving something different. Toss this over rice for a healthy meal that everyone will love, or add more zucchini to the mix for a Paleo-friendly take on a new week night dinner.

What I love most about this recipe is that the ingredient list is short and simple. Just a few pantry staples plus some pineapple and chicken, and you’re all set to go! And the cleanup is non existent since you’re cooking it all in a foil packet. Once you’re done, just toss the packets and you don’t have to worry about a ton of dishes. Is there anything better than knowing that you can relax after dinner? Kids love eating out of the foil packets, too, so everybody wins with this recipe from The Recipe Critic.

Quick tip: For this recipe, choose a sweet and thick barbecue sauce like Sweet Baby Ray’s, to get the right flavor.
