People Can’t Stop Raving About This Recipe—Have You Tried It?
Every year my husband and I throw an adults only holiday party. It’s one of the few nights of the year we see our friends and no one needs to leave early because a child is acting up or spends half the night chasing around a toddler who just discovered she can run. Nope, we forget about all that and just enjoy the spicy sausage dip.
Now, don’t get me wrong—I love all their little ones almost as much as my own—but every now and then it’s good to spend time together just as ourselves without having to worry about being parents for a few hours.
When we first started this tradition I attempted to do it all—the food, the drinks, the decorations and games. And by the time the party actually started I was so stressed and exhausted I couldn’t wait for it to be over. It turns out I’m no Martha Stewart and could definitely use some outside help.
Ever since then we’ve done it pot luck style where everyone brings a dish to pass. I’m less stressed and everyone there knows there will be at least one thing they like to eat. It’s a win-win!
This past year my best friend from college brought this incredible dip. And I’ve been craving it ever since.

Quick tip: Make this in the crockpot—just add cooked sausage and remaining ingredients and cook on low 1-2 hours until everything is hot and combined. Set to keep warm.
