Transform Your Favorite Jalapeno Poppers With This Homemade Bread

Around my house, there are two opinions on spicy food: love it and hate it. I am personally in the love it camp, and sometimes I can’t resist throwing a little extra spice into a meal. I adore jalapeno poppers, especially when they involve bacon. Spicy peppers, cheese, savory bacon, and all wrapped up in one delicious bite? It’s enough to make me forget about eating anything else for the rest of my life. But this recipe might just change my mind. Over at Call Me PMC, they’ve combined the delicious flavors of a jalapeno popper into a bread! Similar to a cornbread or a biscuit texture, this bread is the perfect way to spice up your regular weeknight meal. It takes just 10 minutes to prepare, and then an hour later, you have homemade bread ready to go! This is a major crowd pleaser, especially if you’re serving it with chili on game day! Big thanks go to the chef at Call Me PMC for such a clever blend of flavors and a fun way to eat one of my favorite things. I’ve made this bread twice already, and I’ve only known about this recipe for three days! That’s how good it is.

Quick tip: You can also make drop biscuits with this dough if you prefer that over the bread shape. No need to change a thing, just form biscuits and bake as you would a biscuit rather than a bread.
