Anyone Who Tries This Spaghetti Pie Falls Instantly In Love With It
This is what made me try spaghetti pie for the first time! My husband and I have lived in our neighborhood for over 10 years. We’ve seen more families than we can count come and go but have always tried really hard to get to know our neighbors—especially after we had children. We really wanted them to make friends with other kids who lived around us and thought that the best way to do that was by also getting to know their parents.
In the last year both of the neighbors on either side of us moved away or new neighbors moved in. Remembering how much work it was when we moved into our house made me think that they might enjoy not having to worry about dinner as they got settled into their new homes. Also, I knew that bringing food over was a great excuse to introduce ourselves.
So I racked my brain for recipes that seemed universal and that almost anyone would appreciate and enjoy after a long day of unpacking. That’s when this spaghetti pie popped into my head—it was perfect!
I spent an afternoon baking up two and then my husband, the kids and I headed over to the neighbors. Upon receiving my pie plates back they both gave this dish rave reviews!

Quick tip: To save time add in a jar of canned spaghetti sauce to the ground beef instead of making your own. Stir sauce and meat together and let heat through a couple of minutes before continuing with the recipe.
