Better Than Takeout: I Make This Chicken Dish Every Weekend!
No matter the time of year, no matter the season, no matter what the weather is like outside my window, quick and easy weeknight dinners are top on the list. Who wouldn’t want an easy meal so less time is spent in the kitchen? And using your Slow Cooker is a great way to get that job done. This Slow Cooker Chinese Chicken is sure to be a hit with the family and will make you the star of the show.
The sweetness of the juicy pineapple and crunch of the chow mein noodles and water chestnuts gives the dish it’s Asian flair. And ,of course, throwing everything into the Slow Cooker makes this entire recipe a breeze!
One of my favorite things to do is sit and browse through all my mother’s old magazines and cookbooks, looking for new recipes and inspirations in the kitchen. But more often than not, I’ll be putting it on my shelf because it only has a recipe or two that I like.
I recently had some pineapple chicken takeout. I loved the idea, but the meal I had didn’t taste very good. I tried making it for myself in the slow cooker, and I’m way happier with these results! Trust me, you’ll pick this meal over takeout any day.
