A Faster, Tastier Way to Make A Perfect Party Lasagna
Making lasagna from scratch can be super time consuming and all the steps involved can be annoying to go through especially when you are on a tight time schedule. Sure making one nice big lasagna for a party sounds easy enough but when you start having to layer the pasta and cook the meat and mix the cheese filling…hours can fly by. This easy party style lasagna is a faster, simpler way to make a homemade lasagna without so much of the hassle.
So what makes this lasagna so much easier than a regular one? It all starts by using a large, oven safe pot to cook the lasagna in. By layering the noodles in the bottom of the pot and up the sides, you are setting up the lasagna to be able to pot right out of the pan. The filling is placed in the pot and wrapped up tightly by more noodles. Some melted cheese on top of the pot seals all the noodles together as it cooks. And when the lasagna comes out of the oven, you flip it onto a plate and cut it up like a cake! Lasagna cake may just be my new favorite thing…

Quick tip: Cut the noodles in half and use small, individual sized ramekins to make mini lasagna cakes.
