Do You Love Cheese? Do You Own A Crock Pot? I Have Your New Favorite Recipe!

  • abuelas crock pot queso

My Abuela’s Crock Pot Queso is one of my favorite recipes to make for parties. Once the Crock Pot is turned on, I hardly have to pay attention to it. Once it’s done cooking, I simply turn off the Crock Pot and transport it to the party!

This is my first time revealing my famous recipe, since I’m always being asked for it. It’s easy enough for anyone with a Crock Pot to make. Don’t feel limited to only dipping tortilla chips in it, either! Consider quesadilla triangles, fresh vegetables, or try pouring the dip over nachos.

Ingredients:

1 crock pot (I like to use the 5 quart crock pot )

1 lb of white American Cheese – chopped up

1 can of diced green chilies, 4.5 oz

1 tsp of chili powder

1 tsp of cumin

1 tsp of garlic salt

1/2 cup of milk (might need to add another 1/2 cup of milk)

Instructions:

In a 5 quart crock pot , add the chopped White American Cheese. I find my White american cheese in the deli section.

add green chilies, milk, and seasonings.

Cook on low until melted – stirring occasionally.
