Who Knew Something This Delicious Could Be Simple And Healthy

  • roasted citrus herb chicken

A Winner On The Dinner Table

Chicken is a favorite in our household. It’s so versatile. Great fried, roasted, baked, and grilled. We have it at least three times a week and are always looking for new recipes.

Honestly, even though the recipe is for roasting you could finish this chicken off in a variety of ways. Prep the chicken and use the recipe as a marinade to sit overnight. When you’re ready to cook throw the chicken on the grill or in the airfryer. It’s simple, delicious, and healthy.

Add a side salad and some green beans and you have the perfect evening meal. This recipe is light and refreshing. The citric pairs perfectly with the rosemary and thyme leaving a wonderful aroma lingering through the house.

This recipe is great throughout the entire year but during the summer we love to pick the herbs straight from our own garden outside.

Quick tip: If a recipe calls for1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, you need only 1 teaspoon of dried, since 3 teaspoons equal 1 tablespoon. You can also use this in the opposite direction, substituting dried with fresh.
