Snack, Lunch or Dinner – What You Call it Depends on How Many you Eat!
I can always count on Kat and Melinda to provide recipes for tasty, stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. You can tell just by looking at this recipe that it is going to be a winner. As Kat says, “I love recipes like that, where you know they are going to be amazing before you even take that first bite.” These little Chicken Parmesan sliders are not only tops in taste, but they are also very easy to make.
Of course, the foundation of this dish is the chicken that you use. You need to either make your own breaded chicken tenders or find a pre-cooked, packaged type that you like. If you look in the frozen food section of your local market, you may find some that already include Italian seasoning that would taste great in this recipe.
The next most important ingredients are your two cheeses. Really try to find a shredded Parmesan cheese. It is perfectly fine if you can only find grated Parmesan, See the Quick Tip for instructions.
This is a great dish to serve for buffet parties, game-day get-togethers, tailgating parties or even when you go camping. You can wrap these in foil and cook them right on a grill or in the embers of a campfire.

Quick Tip: You don’t have to worry about placing one chicken tender on each slider bun, just lay the chicken tenders on top of the buns in any way that ensures that they are all covered with a good portion of meat. You will be cutting the slider buns apart prior to serving, so each slider will have its own portion of meat, although there may not be a complete chicken tender on each bun.
