Three Ingredients Combine To Make These Amazing Chicken Wings!
Football season is upon us! I delicious snack or appetizer recipe is great for any sports season, but I think chicken wings are iconic with football, for sure. However, you don’t need to kick around a pig skin to like this one!
I’ve made these chicken wings for big family birthday parties too. I have yet to enter my recipe into any competitions, but I feel like this is a real winner. My chicken wing sauce is made with a combination of ginger and garlic.
No, these wings aren’t spicy at all! There is a tiny smidge of heat from the chili vinegar, but that’s really just to enhance the other flavors in the wings. If you DO like spicy, however, I would suggest using a hot barbeque sauce in the recipe.
Garlic is one of my favorite seasonings – I put garlic in just about anything I cook. But the garlic is balanced out very nicely with the bit of ginger. You get the perfect amount of sweet and richness. Plus, the chili vinegar gives just that little bit of tang to go along with the barbeque sauce.
I always put out a little bowl of ranch or blue cheese with my chicken wings. Even 1000 island dressing would taste good!
