You Won’t Have To Shuffle Off To Buffalo To Enjoy These
When you are getting ready to have a party at your house, how do you go about choosing the items for your menu? Other than deciding upon a theme, if that is appropriate to the occasion, I always start first with my guest list: as a collective group, who are these people and what type of food would they enjoy? Family and friends would get an entirely different menu than business associates, for example.
Then I choose a main dish that fits the group, and I try to make it one that the guests can embellish to suit their own tastes. If there are people with special needs, I always plan for those, making sure that the dishes that accommodate their needs are just as appealing.
For instance, if I am having a chili bar for the Big Game, and I have vegetarians in the crowd, I would make a vegetarian chili as a base, and then have meats available with the other add-ins, such as onions, sour cream, cheese and hot sauce, so that non-vegetarians can create a bowl of chili they will enjoy.
Then I will prepare a stunning or unique dessert that will leave a good, lasting impression of my party. But wait! What about an appetizer? That is where Sarah’s delicious roll-up recipe comes in!

Quick Tip: Before refrigerating the roll-ups, wrap them tightly in cling wrap to help mold them into shape. You can also freeze the wrapped roll-ups for use at a later date.
