Biscuits, that’s what! Before this recipe, I might have wondered how a hot dog and a biscuit would even work- biscuits are round, hot dogs are long- it just doesn’t make sense. In steps the muffin tin to the rescue!
Refrigerated biscuit dough is pressed into a muffin tin, making a nice buttery cup for the hot dog to go in. However, to make the best kind of hot dog- a Chicago Style Hot Dog- you need more than just hot dogs inside that biscuit cup. Mustard and Worcestershire sauce are tossed together with the hot dogs and stuffed in the muffin pan. Then a topping of onions, relish and mustard are poured on and the hot dog cups are ready to bake!
