Don’t be intimidated by these cute and festive Snowman Cupcakes. They’re really so simple! Just bake up a batch of your favorite cupcakes (I always use a mix but you can go all out with homemade if you prefer!) and get ready to turn them into the most adorable treat you’ve ever had. All you’ll need it vanilla frosting, white decorating sugar and some baking chips.
My family and I make an afternoon out of putting these guys together. They’re so easy even my littlest can do it on his own. And we love eating one of our creations as soon as we’re done. If you want a simple and delicious holiday activity for your family this is it!
Ingredients
12 chocolate cupcakes (homemade or from a mix)
Vanilla frosting (enough to generously frost 12 cupcakes—a can of frosting works)
Butterscotch Chips
Mini chocolate chips
White crystal decorating sugar
Instructions
Frost all cupcakes with a generous layer of vanilla frosting. Then sprinkle with the sugar until fully covered. Use the mini chips to make eyes and a mouth and a butterscotch chip for the nose. Store at room temperature until ready to serve. Cupcakes keep for up to three days.

Quick tip: Red velvet cupcakes would be a festive holiday twist instead of chocolate.
