But one thing we didn’t have, back in the day, was these “fun size” candy bars. Oh no, baby! We had the great big honkin’ full-sized marvels of sugary heaven! Oh sure, some neighbors tried to cut their costs by passing out little rolls of hard-candy disks or apples or even home-baked goods. But word soon got around and those houses were roundly avoided or even “tricked.”

One of the most highly-prized of all the candy bars was the hallowed Butterfinger. First, it was far bigger than the other candy bars of its day. Secondly, you knew you had hours of enjoyment ahead of you, licking, picking and sucking those sticky bits of peanut-y goodness out of your teeth.

 

INGREDIENTS

10 Fun Size Butterfingers

8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened

10 oz. Marshmallow Cream

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

Mix well soft cream cheese and marshmallow cream together.

Chop 8 Butterfingers in chunky pieces and add it to the mixture.

Chop the 2 butterfingers and sprinkle on top of your dip as a topping.
