Easy Appetizer Tastes Like a MILLION Bucks

  • Easy Snack Recipes

This recipe really couldn’t be easier to throw together, which makes it perfect for just about any occasion! Having friends over for a game night? Perfect, make a batch the night before and let the flavors get good and acquainted. Did you in-laws decide to drop in for a surprise visit? Throw this together and enjoy it right when you make it.

It’s so quick you won’t believe how good it tastes! Plus, it takes just 6 (yes, only 6!) ingredients that you most likely already have at home. So next time a snack emergency hits try a batch of this—you won’t regret it!

You will most certainly add this to your got to list of easy snack recipes.

4 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature (optional)

1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

5 green onions, chopped

8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

8 slices, 1/2 pound bacon cooked & crumbled or 1/2 cup real bacon bits

1/2 cup slivered almonds

Mix cream cheese and mayo together.

Add remaining ingredients.

Cover and chill for 12 to 24 hours if time allows.

Quick Tip: Gather friends together for a “dip party” where everyone brings a family favorite dip recipe (you, of course, will call dibs on this Million Dollar Dip) to share. You’ll find some new gems to try!

I have been using this combination for years ( add a little shake of garlic powder ) …but I put it on bag-get slices and broil…we call them Selma whiskers..you can also freeze them before broiling and just pop them under the broiler…soo good

Could you use something other than almonds (allergy)?!

What do you substitute the toasted almonds for or are the almonds an added ingredient?

Oops – sorry, I didn’t see the slivered almonds in the recipe! A little too early in the morning. Looks delicious; will try for the Holidays!

Can I use Miracle Whip instead of Mayonise? Walnuts or Pecans instead of Almonds.

Looks great, can’t wait to try it for Super Bowl 2018. Think I will leave out the green onions though.

No Carol, you’re not allowed to make any changes. The dip police will come to your home and get you. SMH.
