This recipe really couldn’t be easier to throw together, which makes it perfect for just about any occasion! Having friends over for a game night? Perfect, make a batch the night before and let the flavors get good and acquainted. Did you in-laws decide to drop in for a surprise visit? Throw this together and enjoy it right when you make it.

It’s so quick you won’t believe how good it tastes! Plus, it takes just 6 (yes, only 6!) ingredients that you most likely already have at home. So next time a snack emergency hits try a batch of this—you won’t regret it!

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature (optional)

1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

5 green onions, chopped

8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

8 slices, 1/2 pound bacon cooked & crumbled or 1/2 cup real bacon bits

1/2 cup slivered almonds

 

Instructions:

Mix cream cheese and mayo together.

Add remaining ingredients.

Cover and chill for 12 to 24 hours if time allows.

    I have been using this combination for years ( add a little shake of garlic powder ) …but I put it on bag-get slices and broil…we call them Selma whiskers..you can also freeze them before broiling and just pop them under the broiler…soo good

    I use this recipe but put it on a baguette and toast it in the oven. Delish!
