These easy fried ravioli make a perfect snack or appetizer for any occasion—or are a fun Friday night dinner with the family! By starting with a bag of store bought ravioli (use your favorite brand) these tasty little pasta bites come together in minutes. The hardest part is setting up your dredging station.
And because these are pan fried in shallow oil it’s a lot easier than busing out a big deep fryer—no special equipment needed! Just a little bit of the oil you have on hand and you’re in fried ravioli business! These are so delicious served with marinara I can guarantee they’ll disappear in minutes.
Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 large eggs
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
Kosher salt
1 lb. cheese ravioli (can usually find in the freezer section)
Vegetable oil
½ c grated parmesan
1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
In three separate shallow bowls add the flour, eggs (beaten) and breadcrumbs. Season the breadcrumbs with salt and pepper.
Dredge ravioli in flour, then dip in eggs and coat well in bread crumbs.
In a large deep skillet heat 1 inch of oil until simmering.
Add ravioli and fry until golden (about 3 minutes) flipping once.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the ravioli to a paper towel lined baking sheet to cool and drain excess oil.
Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley and serve with marinara.
