Ingredients (mix up order)

1 loaf of French bread

6 tbsp butter

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

2 tsp oregano

2 tsp basil

Pizza sauce (use your favorite brand)

Pepperoni

2 cups shredded mozzarella

1 cup shredded parmesan (or substitute with more mozzarella or provolone)

Any other desired pizza toppings
Directions

Preheat oven to 450 Degrees and spray a long baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a small sauce pan, melt the butter on low heat. Once the butter has melted, remove from heat and add the garlic and onion powder, and add the oregano and basil leaves and stir until well mixed.

Take the long loaf of French Bread and use a serrated knife to cut the bottom of the loaf off of the bread leaving the top of the bread and the majority of the bread. Cut the loaf into two halves and use a pastry brush and brush the top of the French bread (which will be the bottom) with the melted butter.

Place the top of the french bread on top of the prepared baking sheet. Take the remaining melted butter and brush the top of the french bread. Take some of the pizza sauce and spread on top of the bread and use the bottom of a spoon to spread the sauce along the bread. Sprinkle the top of the bread with both cheeses. Top off the french bread with the turkey pepperoni or other desired toppings. If there is leftover cheese sprinkle on top of the remaining toppings and place in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving

Quick tip: Make individual “French” bread pizzas by applying this same technique to halved large, crusty dinner rolls and let everyone choose their own toppings.
