This Easy Casserole Is Blow-Your-Mind Delicious!

  • Easy Chicken Parmigiana Casserole

This easy chicken parmigiana casserole is the perfect blend between tasty and easy, and I’m so glad I stumbled across the recipe! There’s no messy and time consuming frying like in the original dish. Instead, everything is layered into a baking dish and popped in the oven, giving you time to relax before dinner.

This is a great kid-pleasing dish with flavors they’ll love from the tender chicken and tangy sauce to the crispy croutons and gooey cheese on top. But it’ll be a hearty meal for even the hungriest adults, too. This is definitely a dish that will make a regular appearance at our dinner table!

Ingredients:

2 lbs Chicken Breast

Favorite Ragu Marinara Sauce

1 lb Parmesan Cheese

Bag of Croutons (we like garlic flavored but use your favorite

Directions:

Season the Chicken with your favorite Italian seasoning, then layout evenly in a casserole dish. You can chop up your chicken or leave them as the full breast. If they are really thick then you will probably want to butterfly them or you’ll have to cook them a bit differently.

Cover with Sauce and then top with a little more than half of the Parmesan Cheese.

Spread out the Croutons on top of the Parmesan Cheese, then add the rest of the Cheese on top.

Cover with aluminum foil

If you are using thin breasts, chicken fingers or chopped/cubed chicken: Bake in the oven at 370 degrees for 35 -40 minutes.

If you are using thicker chicken breasts (more than 1/2 inch): Bake in a 350 degree oven for about an hour.

Hi Kewana, no pasta in this recipe – however, feel free to serve this over a bed of noodles, if you’d like! 🙂
