Easy Casserole to Make With Leftovers!

The Perfect Combination for a Party in Your Mouth

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year – family gets together, foorball is on TV and food is fresh and abundant. We tend to do a late lunch for Thansgiving so we can nibble on leftovers later in the evening but not be a stuffed turkey before going to bed.

Another family tradition we have is hittingthe store for Black Friday. Alarm clocks go off at 3am so we can head to the stores and score the best deals (and get a head start on Christmas gifts). Getting up before the sun requires a lot of coffee and we are usually exhausted by early afternoon.

This leftover ham and rice casserole is our go-to recipe for Black Friday because we utilize the Thanksgiving leftovers and it’s so easy to make. We mix it up, pop it in the over and have a warm, hearty meal without all the fuss in the kitchen. Plus the leftovers don’t go to waste! One of the great things about this recipe is you can really mix in anything you want. Noi ham left? Sub in turkey. No broccoli? Use carrots instead. It’s versitile and the kids love it.
